The place was conveniently located with parking, the room was compact but well-equipped, and I enjoyed my stay.

The parking lot was spacious enough, the room—including the bathroom—was clean and the shower produced hot water; the early check‑in deadline made me a bit nervous, but the staff were kind even at the last minute. The route from the hotel entrance to the room was confusing, poorly lit, and I got lost a few times.

The rooms were very clean and came with tea, coffee, biscuits, and all the toiletries you’d need in the bathroom, but I would have liked to eat at the hotel; it closed early at 7 pm and had no food.

“A nice place to stop off or if it’s a pub stay you are looking for”

The hotel sits opposite a Morrisons and the staff who greeted us were kind and welcoming, and the cleaning crew were equally friendly, which we appreciated; the pillows and bed were good quality, and the room was tidy with plenty of space and storage. However, the sewage smell was overwhelming—immediately noticeable when entering the building and up the stairs, and while the room itself was fine, the bathroom carried the odor, so we kept the door closed. The parking area is cramped; parking a little off makes it harder than it needs to be, but that’s the car owners’ fault, not the hotel’s. I didn’t get a chance to speak with anyone because we left when only the cleaning staff were present and returned after the pub had closed.
