“Fabulous Views”

The Lake Bungalows deliver on their promise—stunning views and direct access to swim in Lake Neuchâtel. Absolutely delightful; I’d recommend splashing out on a Lake Pavilion rather than the shore ones. The staff seemed a little disillusioned and sometimes argumentative, and an occasional smile could have made our stay even better.

“Traumhafte Lage, aber sonst ist es den Preis nicht wert!”

The location and reception were fine. The rooms feel dated; the bathtub wasn’t clean. The electric system is rather complicated to operate, and at night the room can’t be fully darkened because of light from the entrance door. The perpetual annoyance is the price of the room fridge, which is ridiculously high.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the décor is nice and everything is very clean. I wouldn’t say the restaurant was bad, but it could be better on all levels.

I stayed in a huge room right on the lake, complete with a fantastic terrace that lets you jump straight into the water. The whole property is beautiful and everything feels perfect. The price matches what you get, and even the extras and meals are on the higher end of the price spectrum.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel. The pavilion’s design and its location are uniquely beautiful! However, the cleanliness left something to be desired: inside the pavilion’s entrance, spiders and webs were on the ceiling, the balcony railing was covered in webs, and even the floor where the balcony meets the room was sticky with them. At this overnight rate, I expected absolute cleanliness.
