Heritage property… well maintained and well‑mannered staff. No elevator, the washroom is shared and there isn’t an onsuite washroom, which is a major turn‑off. Too many mosquitoes… The rooms are small and cramped.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The gently renovated old house is beautiful. The hosts are extremely attentive. The whole house is very clean. The breakfast is less extensive compared to other hotels and additional costs were not communicated.

The Omani heritage house is beautiful to explore, and Hattan and the amazing team always make you feel like family. It is comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast and drinks by Farooq in the café are always delicious. The location in Taqah gives easy access to attractions, shops, and restaurants. Nothing to add!

The hotel is a stunning historical gem, exactly what I was after instead of a bland chain. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and attentive, especially Rahman who welcomed me in German and made me feel at home. The only gripe: a bedside lamp would soften the harsh ceiling light; I personally prefer softer lighting.

The restored large Omani house is very authentic. It was a truly unique experience, and I’m very happy we chose to stay there. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the owners share compelling stories about Dhofar’s history and places.
