I booked separate beds but ended up in a room with a double bed, which was disappointing. The staff were friendly and courteous, though.

The location and staff service were solid, the facilities were new, and the air conditioning worked well; the town is small but packed with good restaurants, a food street, and a shop street full of cheeses, wines, olive oils, and wineries, and Pico do Gavião is spectacular. The bathroom leaked water, there was no bidet, and the flush had low pressure; breakfast was very simple with few options, but it met the goal of having a place to stay and enjoy the beautiful area.
