Connemara Lake Hotel

“Basta poco per essere ottimo.”

Being right in the middle of the village made it super convenient. The place gives both dinner and breakfast, and both were satisfying. The room was pretty decent, just the right size for a night or a little more. The bathroom, however, had a damp‑damaged ceiling with peeling paint and a scratched spot that showed the building wasn’t fully cared for. A few cracks in the walls here and there, a slight maze to find the room, and machinery, fans, and AC noise that lasted until evening. The entrance was small but still comfortable.

The shower in my room didn’t work at all. When we arrived there was no power in the hotel, but that was due to a storm and nothing the staff could do. Breakfast was subpar.

The room was huge and super comfy, and the staff were brilliant. The food was delicious and everything was perfect. Nothing could be said to improve it.

Room small and outdated Bathroom ceiling peeling down 😩 musty smell in room. Bed mattress hard but pillows were lovely Food was good 👍
