We stayed at Valley View again and it’s still a gorgeous spot in a lovely town. Every cabin feels modern, spotless, cozy, and quiet. The owners are wonderful.

The owner was fantastic—friendly, helpful, and even offered us produce from the garden, asking if she could give us a box of tomatoes to take home. The property boasts beautiful views and is exceptionally quiet at night. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The bed was comfortable and the room had been upgraded recently. I’d definitely return if I were in the area again. We had booked the cheapest cabin expecting it to be fine, but it turned out tiny. There was walking space for one person on one side of the bed to reach the washroom, but none on the other side. A few feet at the foot of the bed left no room for chairs, and there was only a couple of wall hooks instead of a closet. The room could hold only one suitcase and the bathroom was small. Luckily a cancellation opened up a larger unit, and the owner let us upgrade at no extra fee beyond the upgrade cost. If no larger unit had been available, we’d have moved to another hotel in the area for the rest of our stay, even if that meant a double charge. The walls between units don’t insulate sound, which is typical of older hotels. A chair in the room would have been nice (the room had a couple of benches for the small dining table). Despite these quirks it was great value and probably the nicest place to stay in Creston overall. We’d liked better restaurants in the area, but they were probably as good as expected for a small town and the price range of the local eateries.

Ontzettend vriendelijk ontvangst. Een tuin waar je zelf groente en fruit mocht oogsten om te van te eten. Leuke accommodatie en mooi uitzicht. Niks, het was prima!
