It’s a simple but very good inn, with excellent breakfast and the carrot cake is amazing, the French bread is dry exactly the way I like it. Lunch is extra, but since we were leaving we stopped for lunch and I thought of a tasty meal, and we let them know that when we do a round trip we’ll stop there for lunch. The blankets could be softer, cheap ones, because the ones they have give a rash.

The spot’s right next to the Basilica, so walking there is easy. The staff were friendly. However, the rooms are accessed by a very narrow staircase that wasn’t mentioned beforehand, which is a problem for my husband’s knee. The room itself is small and has multiple beds, making it feel even tighter. When we took a shower, the lights went out and it took a few minutes to locate the breaker and restore power.

The location was clean, with good mattresses. They explained everything clearly ahead of time so I had no doubts.

The hotel is close to the Basilica, and the host Alexandre is very friendly and polite. There’s an on‑site restaurant with good food at reasonable prices. Because my room was above the restaurant, I was woken before 6 am by conversations, music, and the restaurant’s noise. I suggest a bit more silence and staff understanding of the situation.
