“Zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar, matig hotel”

Last Friday, the breakfast service stopped abruptly. When I tried to check in around 18:00, nobody was at the front desk and the phone number on the door didn’t work. A person who wasn’t from the hotel ended up helping me, and I was able to retrieve my room key from a digital safe and head to my room. Unfortunately, another guest was already inside, but they left quickly. The room lights were partially broken, and the toilet light fixture was also defective. The hotel advertises itself as a Messe (conference) hotel, yet the link to the conference center is poor. Renting an electric bike proved to be the solution.

The surroundings were fine, but on the weekend there was no reception. The parking spots mentioned in the description were missing. Throughout the day, used bed linen lay on the hallways, and the tiny balconies had an excessive number of overflowing ashtrays. The rooms and bathrooms were very small.

The location was convenient for me. The breakfast was decent, and I had a parking spot! Unfortunately, there was no follow‑up regarding check‑in: the email didn’t contain any information on where to find the key. I had to call, which caused some language barrier issues.

“Alojamiento que necesita mayor limpieza”

El alojamiento está en una zona tranquila con facilitad de aparcamiento gratuito en la calle. Al llegar no había nadie en recepción y no nos habían dado instrucciones. LLamamos al teléfono que aparecía en la puerta (ojo para los que no saben inglés o alemán) y la sorpresa fue que habían cancelado nuestra reserva (no sabemos si el hotel o Booking) Afortunadamente, pudieron resolver la incidencia y proporcionarnos una habitación. Fue un auténtico lio hacernos con las llaves y comprobar que pertenecían a nuestra habitación. En los días que estuvimos no vimos a nadie en recepción excepto el día de salida (nos querían cobrar el desayuno que no habíamos tomado) La limpieza dejaba mucho que desear, varias telarañas con sus arañas y la terraza muy sucia
