Breakfast was very good, staff were helpful and friendly. There was no heating in the rooms, so mornings and evenings were cold.

Exactly what I needed for one night. The on‑site restaurant served decent portions, it’s close to the rail station, and the seafront walk is uninterrupted. I didn’t come for the beach!

The spot is fantastic, the building has a rich history and plenty of character, yet it feels warm and cozy. The lack of a lift makes disabled access a bit tricky, but that’s understandable given the building’s age.

The location is lovely, the room is large and comfortable with a view, and the bathroom is nice. The coffee in the room comes with fresh milk, and the breakfast is excellent, featuring fresh fruit.
