“A very nice step back in time”

The effort to recreate a historical vibe for guests was impressive, but parking required a walk that wasn’t mentioned on the website.

My wife and I spent a couple of nights at the Victorian House B&B over a weekend; the setting and history are great, right in the oldest part of St. Augustine and within walking distance of the main sights, and the building and grounds are well maintained. The room had a jetted tub/shower, which made it hard for older or shorter guests to get in and out safely; a small platform or steps would help. Breakfast was fine, but both days served the same Spanish egg‑and‑vegetable torta, so more variety would be nice, and a simple rack to hang shirts or dresses would also be useful. The staff were friendly and helpful, making it a pleasant stay with room for improvement.

The location of this hotel is amazing. You are at a 3-5 min walking distance from most of places you want to visit when you are in St Augustine. The comfort and cleanness of the room are beyond any expectations. It is a little bit tough to follow the early schedule for breakfast

The location was spot‑on and the room was lovely and comfy, with a decent breakfast. The only downside was that breakfast started early, which felt a bit rushed for us on holiday.

All my needs were met; we wanted to be near the Lightner Museum for a wedding, and we were within walking distance of everything.
