The location, the gorgeous garden, and the tranquility were fantastic. The bed, however, was too soft for us.

Daniela, the host, was warm, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel right at home in her beautiful house. The rooms and pool area are stunning, and the views are exceptional. Parking was private and included, which was a great bonus. The house sits at the top of a steep, bumpy road—no problem for us, but something to keep in mind depending on your vehicle.

Daniela is an amazing host; we felt comfortable right away. The room, the pool, and the entire property are well maintained and gorgeous. Casa Balata is a bit off the beaten path and perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation. The food was fantastic, mostly sourced from the garden and tastes great. The rooms are nice, spacious, and clean. Highly recommended.

We toured the whole island and stayed in seven places, but Casa Balata was by far the best. It’s not just a place to sleep; it’s a beautifully renovated gem that feels alive. Daniela is the perfect host, welcoming us with warmth and a passion for details that made the stay feel like home. The food was excellent, the kids loved the pool, the kid’s table, and the meatballs 😊. We’ll definitely come back! The only downside is the spotty Wi‑Fi due to the location, but there’s plenty else to enjoy at this lovely spot ☺️
