Hotel AMBiANCE in Zermatt offers free WiFi. Zermatt Train Station is a 10-minute walk away, and the Sunnegga Express funicular is only 600 metres away. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom and a cable TV. Most of them also feature a balcony. Some rooms offer unobstructed views of the Matterhorn.

I stayed at Hotel Ambience on my birthday and Stephanie was amazing and very informative. I asked for a taxi 30 minutes before my arrival with no expectation that it would be arranged, and she was so happy that the driver greeted me at the train station. I checked in around 4 pm and Stephanie made sure I had all the information I needed, and prepared the sauna and whirlpool experience for me. Their sauna is a great experience with its own bath, a leisure area with coffee and tea. They also have a room with a security pass if you leave your luggage after check‑out and want to explore Zermatt for the day, which is very convenient with shower and locker options. Their breakfast is also great with many variants to choose from; I love the soup and breads especially. Plus I got a room upgrade with a balcony and Matterhorn view for 20 CHF! I love how modern the room is and cozy at the same time. I’d definitely come back, and I also asked for a recommendation for my birthday dinner from Stephanie; the restaurant she recommended turned out so lovely and she also happily shared the restaurant’s history and the best food to eat there. Thank you to Stephanie and the entire Hotel Ambience for making my stay and my birthday feel so special!!

The staff was very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was wonderful and the view of the Matterhorn was outstanding. The hotel is very close to the centre yet situated in a quiet area!

The room was spacious and had a great view of the Matterhorn. The staff was very kind and helpful. Their breakfast had a great selection of food. The hot tub was a great way to wind down after hiking.
