We never arrived. We were checked out on the morning of the arrival day. The reservation didn't go through properly, even though a week before arrival we were asked to provide check‑in details.

I found the room cozy and comfortable, but there was a small issue that bothered me a bit.

“Vreselijk.”

From the moment I arrived until the end of my three nights, I never saw anyone in the hotel. No staff was present at check‑in or check‑out. Before my arrival I had a phone conversation with the owner who told me that there was no clean bedding because the laundry had experienced a fire, though the room itself would otherwise be clean. When I got there, with my own bedding, there was still no one around and I didn’t see any staff for the rest of the days. I had booked breakfast, but it was missing as well. I called and texted the owner, but received no response. On the first night I even slept in a room that had already been used because I didn’t know where the key for the “clean room” was. It was truly unbelievable.

L'esmorzar, fantàstic. Amb productes de la terra: embotits, formatges, melmelades, rebostaria. Tot boníssim! I l'ubicació, immillorable! Calonge és una poble petit i encantador, lluny de la massificació turística de l'entorn. No hem trobat cap pega

“Ein besonderes Erlebnis!”

The hotel’s central spot in the historic old town made parking impossible right outside, but a few minutes away there’s a convenient drop‑off spot. The rooms are modern, clean, and spacious, with an elevator available. The courtyard breakfast is delicious and plentiful, and the reception area is creatively designed. The staff are very friendly.
