Good breakfast and friendly staff, but it was way too noisy with construction everywhere. Reaching the beach was difficult, and there were no restaurants nearby.

The view toward the ocean is great, but there is no fridge and no hot running water; the heating device that does work has a low flow rate.

We had a wonderful stay here. The pool was perfect for cooling down at the end of the day, and the short walk to the beach made the location ideal. The hosts were truly lovely—attentive and welcoming throughout our visit. The food was outstanding, with the pineapple curry and parathas among the very best meals we enjoyed in Sri Lanka. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and great hospitality. All good

I really enjoyed my time at Talalla Leisure; the welcome was spot‑on and the staff stayed attentive all the way through. The owner even helped me find my keys on a nighttime beach walk, which I truly appreciated – that level of care matters. The food was fresh and delicious. The accommodation is basic, which is exactly what you’d expect from a guesthouse, and the bed was comfortable even though it’s not a luxury setup. The place is quiet and peaceful, making it easy to unwind. I’d definitely suggest this spot if you want a simple, authentic, and welcoming stay.
