The apartment is authentic, centrally located near major sights and a lovely park. It’s clean, huge, and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfy and the coffee machine a welcome touch. Hosts Daniella and Ugo went above and beyond, offering treats to make us feel special. Breakfast can be delivered to the apartment or enjoyed at a great café downtown. The property is unique and old. However, the plumbing is lacking: the bathroom’s open shower floods and needs mopping, and the dishwasher and washing machine are unusable. If you plan to self‑cater, this may not be the best choice.

We were welcomed by Ugo and Daniela who handled every request with care, making our stay feel truly special. The suite itself was impressive and roomy, situated in a 16th‑century building that offered both proximity to major sights and a quiet, private atmosphere. A breakfast at a nearby café was a nice bonus, and the fridge was stocked with a bottle of wine, other drinks, fresh fruit, yoghurt, and jam—an extra touch that made our visit memorable.

The suite was stunningly comfortable and luxurious, and Ugo and Daniela proved to be excellent hosts, always ready to help and offering great restaurant suggestions. The central location put us close to all the main attractions in Bologna, and we’re already planning a return visit.

“Beautiful historic building; great location. Large well appointed apartment; very comfortable beds. Fantastic personal s”

The historic building was beautiful, but the apartment sits several flights up and the open shower splashes water all over the marble floor, making it extremely slippery.
