Dimora Arco Basso - Old Town

“Magical accommodations in a magical city.”

The location was spot‑on and the room was spacious and fully equipped. Breakfast arrived in our room each morning, offering a generous spread of high‑quality dishes that made it hard to finish more than a small portion. The spot couldn’t have been better. The only downside – and that’s because we’re older (I’m 78) – were the steep, ancient front steps. We managed the single flight, and our host Roberto helped carry our bags up and down when we came and left. I would definitely book again if I ever return.

We were absolutely thrilled! Roberto is such a warm and attentive host that you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. From the great parking tip to the delicious breakfast delivered straight to the room, everything was perfect. The room was spotless and the location right next to the old town was ideal. We felt completely comfortable and would have loved to stay longer. A wholehearted recommendation from the heart!

“Globaal zeer tevreden over de kwaliteit van ons kort verblijf in het oude centrum van Bari.”

The host greeted us kindly and gave plenty of information about this “historical building” and its surroundings. The stay was pleasant and comfortable, and the location was quite ideal. The only issue was that it’s a duplex apartment and the stairs to the upper floor are somewhat dangerous, leaving room for improvement.

Roberto was an awesome host! Very pleasant and helpful. Provided an amazing breakfast which was quite a surprise. Apt was on 2 floors with very narrow, uneven steps to the bedroom/bath. And only 1 window to the outside which was high and hardly accessible
