“Malo”
I only commend the cleaning service and the beach. I had booked for 7 people, 3 rooms with breakfast included, yet upon arrival they told me breakfast wasn’t part of my reservation; I had to pay extra for it, which is pricey for the low quality offered. The advertised pool was closed for work and this wasn’t disclosed until days after payment; they claim there are two pools but it’s actually one split, and with the pool closed the hotel blocked beach access, forcing us to exit through a side passage that also disrupted traffic to nearby towers. Two of my three rooms were in that area, and the older guests had to descend to the underground parking, cross the entire lower area, and then take an elevator to their tower—an inconvenience compounded by pool repair noise starting at 7 AM that kept me from sleeping. The rooms are quite small; the futon or extra bed forces me to fold the main bed to fit both, leaving them awkwardly stacked at different heights. My room (344) on the third floor had a constant urine smell in the bathroom entrance due to a drainage pipe from the floor above, while another room (124) had a water leak reaching the hallway. The TV was old, not a smart TV, so I couldn’t stream or watch YouTube in other languages; all broadcasts were in Portuguese. The microwave was outdated, and not every room had a kettle or coffee maker.
