The location met my needs and I had two consecutive weeks of availability. My first complaint was that guests should be told to bring their own towels, soap, shampoo, and sheets if they prefer. I didn’t like the pillow, the smell the washing machine left in the bathroom, and… being a pension, hygiene often depends on the third parties who cross your stay, so it’s not suitable for families. There is no women’s bathroom. The TV worked, but the cable didn’t. It’s hard to communicate with staff if you don’t speak German.

“you get what you paid for”

It’s cheap, has a shared kitchen, and my single room was quite large. No towel was provided – that’s not mentioned in the listing or in any message, so it’s a surprise. Despite the size, the room was bleak and inhospitable. There’s a camera right in front of the shared toilets, so bring a robe unless you’re okay with being filmed in your pajamas.

I was disappointed from the moment I entered the building, as a strong, unpleasant odor lingered and persisted in the room. The place looked untidy, dusty, and overall unclean, giving the impression that there might even be a pest problem—though I can't confirm that, the condition certainly suggested it. I felt very uncomfortable throughout my stay. The room was extremely sparsely furnished, lacking even a basic trash can, which I consider essential. Everything seemed poorly decorated and badly maintained.
