The location and facilities were excellent, yet the tax charge wasn’t disclosed in the reservation.

The accommodation was centrally located on Calle Kukulkan, the main avenue of Tulum, but the shower in my room wasn’t working, so I had to use another room; I also booked only a few hours before check‑in, which might have prevented the front desk from catching that issue.
