The staff were all lovely, breakfast offered a wide variety, and the location was perfect for all the sights in Rouen plus countless restaurants and bars.

The building was old, but the mattress in the room I used was new and comfortable, and the lighting around the bed was modern and could be customized to my taste. I imagine the owner must be wonderful, given the focus on such details and the front desk staff’s consistently pleasant smiles. There was no elevator, yet the front desk staff kindly carried my suitcase to the room when I arrived. Walking from the station to the hotel and then to the main attractions was a bit of a walk, not exactly close but within an acceptable range. The hotel has no laundry facilities, but several coin laundries are nearby the tourist spots.

The hotel is old but well maintained and well situated. The breakfast is excellent! The only downside is that there is no elevator.
