Thon Hotel Skagen is located centrally in Bodø, 200 metres from the city centre and Glasshuset Shopping Centre, 350 metres away. The hotel offers rooms with TV, work desk, and free WiFi. A buffet breakfast is served daily, with complimentary fresh fruit and coffee available in reception. Bodø Train Station, Airport, and Norwegian Aviation Museum are nearby.

Always a pleasure to arrive at Skagen. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and the beds were good. Breakfast was fine and the waffles were delicious with the afternoon coffee.

The hotel is within walking distance of Bodø city centre and the airport. It includes a lunch meal in the price – waffles you can make yourself, coffee, tea, dinner (very good – fish, sauce, potatoes and fresh bread), and you can order pizza. We missed breakfast (early departure), but they prepared a great travel package and checked for food allergies. They have a luggage storage service.

We received an upgraded room and the breakfast was fantastic with a wide selection of allergy‑friendly food. The room had a small window, so it could get a bit warm and stuffy.
