Very clean and cozy, just as described. Water was cut from Monday to Tuesday, but the owners provided bottled water.

The room was lovely, with nice décor and a very cosy feel; the kitchen facilities were good and the hot tub was brilliant. However, the bathroom floor could get quite slippery and you had to dry it after every use. We couldn’t get the central heating to work, but an electric radiator on the wall helped. The Apollo cabins Wi‑Fi was down, so we used the next door cabin’s connection. The front door was a bother, as we had to force it open and close at times.

The spot was very quiet and peaceful if you enjoy walks, and the fenced garden kept our small dog safe. However, the property looked a bit tired and somewhat grubby for the price, and I wasn’t happy with the bathroom layout—shower next to the toilet without a curtain, water splashing everywhere, and it didn’t feel like a proper wet‑room floor. We even had to pick up litter left by a previous guest. Normally I wouldn’t give negative feedback, but after a 2‑night stay and a self‑check‑in we found no nearby shop, and when we asked for extra toilet paper we were told only two were provided, which felt cheeky given we paid over £320 for two nights.

“Lovely get away”

I love the vibe—it’s truly lovely—though the bathroom has sharp edges and could have been cleaner.
