They were very accommodating, welcoming and friendly. I have stayed here before and will keep coming back; highly recommended. Nothing negative, the experience was exceptional.

I asked for a different room and it was eventually arranged. The location was nice with nature all around. The room I received had a “old” smell, hard to describe exactly. It wasn’t clear that the staircase to the upper floor where the bed was located was a steep spiral stair. The listing says the bedroom is on the upper floor, but doesn’t mention it could be difficult to reach.

The setting is stunning, almost too rural, a genuine old French farmhouse where you can see the best starry sky at night and lovely lakes nearby. On the host’s suggestion I went to the Creole restaurant in the village, which was very enjoyable and tasty. The layout had changed, so our bedroom ended up on the upper floor.
