New, close to the station, good for multiple nights, and suitable for cooking. The key box wouldn’t open, so I needed about 15 minutes at checkout; I finally called for help, but the foreign staff were hard to understand and I had to explain things several times.

Everything matched the pictures exactly, you can see there’s a very complete management system, fully equipped facilities, and all the rules are written very clearly. Highly recommend!

“Perfecte Unterkunft für längeren Aufenthalt”

The accommodation sits on a quiet residential street on the 5th floor of a very quiet building, with an elevator and a five‑minute walk to the railway station and bus terminal. Nearby are several grocery stores and restaurants. The apartment is very homely and well furnished, with a kitchen that has a stove, microwave, rice cooker, pans, kettle, dishes and cutlery—ideal for a longer stay. Yamagata is the perfect base for visiting Zao Onsen, Yamadera, etc. The check‑in was slow; I didn’t receive a code beforehand. The call function on the check‑in device didn’t work because no one answered, but fortunately a Japanese couple was also checking in and they called the call number on their phone. When I finally reached the operator, everything worked fine in English.

I stayed for a climbing trip and the laundry machine and bathroom dryer were a real help. Nothing else to complain about.
