We didn’t have breakfast and left early, and otherwise everything was fine.

The location is stunning, the breakfast selection is delicious and the view is the best; it’s a perfect base for competitors of THE LAP and for anyone needing easy access to Beatrix Potter's House, the ferry to Bowness is within a comfortable walk, Hawkshead isn’t far, and Coniston is close by car where I enjoyed the Coniston museum for Bluebird and more; the scenery is ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. I would have liked to stay longer when leaving.

The position is lovely, the staff are helpful, the breakfast is decent, and there’s a nice lounge area to relax; it’s quite remote, so you need a car and be ready to drive tight lanes in the dark if you’re heading out for dinner, which you have to.
