Everything was excellent: first and foremost the attitude, responsiveness and hospitality of the two sisters, Chaturu and Sasara, who seemed fragile but were ready to solve any guest issue, from an unusual breakfast to handling a falling wild coconut that nearly hit beach tourists; second, the convenient location near the beautiful Mirissa beach, restaurants, and a large supermarket, with most of the way to the beach on a secondary road where tuk-tuk traffic is minimal; third, the hotel itself was fresh, with modern décor and equipment; fourth, the intimate setting—only three rooms, we were the only guests—ensured no other hotels were nearby; fifth, there was a fridge and a kitchen (no microwave) available, so we bought fresh seafood from the supermarket in the evening and asked to have it prepared for breakfast.
