Everything was clean, quiet, comfortable, and well equipped, and having breakfast in the room was a nice touch; the spot was great, within walking distance of amazing restaurants and a lovely walk to the water. I only wish we’d stayed longer—this was just a stop on the way north, so next time we’ll book a couple more days.

The location was perfect with an ocean view from the private deck, and the staff were very attentive and helpful; we enjoyed the wine & cheese hour every afternoon and the chance to meet other guests. Nothing negative.

It was quiet, the setting was unique, and there were plenty of comfortable common areas; breakfast delivery was nice. However, getting into the room was difficult, the toilet area had a strange door, the glass shower stall was in the middle of the room, and tea drinkers had to place a special order because there was no way to heat water to make your own.

I stayed at the Packard House, had a large room with a comfortable bed, and breakfast was delivered to my room; the staff were exceptional. The room could use more electrical outlets, the bathroom could use towel racks, and it was hard to step into the non‑working jetted bathtub.
