“Second time around”

The place is well tended by a host of staff who work tirelessly throughout the day, it’s clean and comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and polite. James, the head man, always cares about guests’ wellbeing and nothing is too much trouble. This is my second stay and I know it won’t be the last—cheers to excellent standards. The only complaints are that the building itself is old, not dilapidated but needing updates, and there are few sockets for charging mobiles inside or outside.

The food was great and the rooms were very clean, with staff who took good care of us. The beach, however, needed raking and clearing.

The structure fits perfectly into the Kenyan style, with distinctive lodging, plenty of greenery, and a wide, clean, beautiful beachfront – ideal for those who want space and tranquility. Everything matched the description and photos. I only met polite, calm, respectful guests, which made the stay even more enjoyable. A special thanks to manager James, who takes care of guests 360°, and to Millie from the staff, always friendly, smiling, and positively infectious. You truly feel welcomed here, not just a client. I had read some negative reviews about cleanliness, towels, the pool, and the buffet, but none of that applied to my experience: everything was always clean and orderly. The buffet is modest, but with about 30 items it seems completely normal – you can’t expect a large resort’s spread. The service was more than adequate, with appropriate timing for vacationers.

From start to finish the experience was flawless; the staff went above and beyond, and the manager was exceptional – a huge thank you from Sally and James for a very, very professional job. Highly recommended. Nothing to dislike; from the outset it was clear that all staff believed the client was always right and acted on that, brilliant.
