The place looked very nice, authentically Japanese, and I felt right at home, but when I slept I noticed the sliding door was a bit loose, moving during the night and making noise.

We only stayed one night, yet it was beautiful, quiet and perfect, with a residential, local vibe; not a ryokan, but very close. I wish we could have stayed another night or two in Kamakura.
