Ecoland Hotel

My first room had an overwhelming mold smell, so they moved me to a larger one. I tried the hotel buffet and found raw horse meat! After that bad experience, I tried to get a taxi to an outside restaurant, but was told none were available because the hotel is so remote. I ordered a vegetarian pizza from the kitchen, but received a meat pizza instead. I came to EcoLand to relax and play golf, only to discover I couldn’t book or play as a single person. This should be highlighted to international professionals traveling alone. Every step was difficult due to language issues and poor customer service. The hotel has beautiful parts, but I do not recommend it for western people.

“매년 방문하게 되는 호텔”

Since the first time EcoLand opened, I visit once or twice a year, and I still love how clean and tidy it stays. The front desk staff are organized and friendly, and although sometimes rooms are assigned without much thought—like checking in at 3 pm as a couple and being assigned to the first floor with kids running and noise from other floors—it usually meets my requests. The room condition is always clean and neat. Breakfast and dinner are better on weekends with more variety and good taste, and the pool was warm every time, but this evening it was lukewarm and everyone felt cold and couldn't enjoy it, which was new. During my stay EcoLand was half‑price, and I always take the train to see the Ggotjawaal view, which is fun. I also enjoy riding the Ori-bae and Sky Lighter. The main music at EcoLand is new, and there are always more shows like foreign dancers and a chaeryeok show. The flower beds are richer and EcoLand keeps improving, making it my favorite place in Jeju. The only downside is the life‑jacket at the play area has mold and a strong smell, and orange stains appear on clothes, so it needs replacement.
