It was a nice, relaxing place to recharge and reconnect with nature. A gate would have helped keep the dogs a bit more contained, but it wasn’t a big issue.

This cabin feels like a chic, cozy luxury hideaway; the modern vibe makes it warm, welcoming, and supremely comfy. The hot tub at night was a highlight of the trip. It’s also super handy, just a 10‑minute drive from Alnwick Garden—highly recommend! The kitchen is decent with a hob, a solid air fryer, and basic cutlery and crockery, but a microwave and supplies like milk, tea, and sugar would make it even better. Still, an overall wonderfully convenient retreat.
