The owner was friendly and the service was excellent; I’m grateful she drove to the station in heavy snow to pick me up. She could communicate in English. It takes about a cross‑road drive to reach the Snow Resort at Yunazawa.

The room isn’t large, but the storage space is huge, fitting two 29‑inch suitcases. The bathroom is really big, even though it’s shared. The owner is super kind and explains everything in detail. The room, bathroom, and toilet are all clean. It’s about a five‑minute walk from the Yuzawa‑Yuzawa Station. The nearest restaurant is the pork‑cutlet place, and opposite it seems to be the Yuzawa ski resort. The only small drawback is that the room is on the second floor, so carrying luggage up is a bit inconvenient.
