The place is close to the beach with a nice view, and breakfasts are tasty. If not for a few incidents that spoiled the review, it could be a great spot. Unfortunately, we had several situations that lowered our rating. Twice the air conditioning in our room stopped working completely, and at those temperatures you can’t sit out without it. One morning, bees or wasps in large numbers woke us up, entering through cracks in windows and balcony doors. We managed to use a pesticide that killed them, but it’s risky for allergic people. Then we couldn’t stay in the room for over an hour. Cleaning wasn’t thorough: large towels were taken away, leaving only two tiny ones, and the bedding was never changed during our stay of over a week. With constant power outages, AC shutdowns, and no water on the island, the staff should have also changed the sheets. On the day before the last, the generator broke down, so from about 17:00 until midnight we had no electricity or water. No one came to say anything or bring a bottle of water. The behavior was very poor in that situation. The next morning we left the hotel early because we couldn’t function in such heat without power and water.
