The location, cleanliness, staff and service were all excellent, and I received a larger room than the one I had booked.

The hotel sits in a prime spot right by the ocean with plenty of restaurants nearby. I didn’t like that the building felt old, the bathrooms had a 1960s vibe, and that this wasn’t highlighted in the description—knowing it was an older property would have helped with my decision. The breakfast was good but very repetitive, which can sap your appetite.

The pool is nice and the hotel is right on the slipway, so you can move around at night without needing a taxi. The bed was good and the breakfast was fine. When opening the shower, the first three minutes of water were brown. The air‑conditioning worked only partially. Overall, the rooms were just okay—neither good air‑conditioning, nor nicely finished, nor comfortable.

The sea views justify the extra cost, the Slipway setting is great, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants. The staff are nice and friendly.
