“Freezing cold first night, couldn't sleep. Then perfect second night...”

I booked the pricier option hoping it would be more comfortable, but the first night was a nightmare: I was stuck in a 1st‑floor room where the street noise—cars, music, pedestrians—made it impossible to sleep, even though the night was otherwise quiet. The window offered no soundproofing. At midnight I called the front desk and they promptly swapped me to a 2nd‑floor room facing the courtyard, but that one was cold; I turned the AC off, yet at 2 AM I was still shivering. I called again and they said they could turn off the AC remotely, but no one was on duty to do it, so they checked the controller, confirmed it was off, and brought two blankets and a heater. The heater seemed to fight the AC, so I finally turned it off and slept under three blankets for only about 2.5 hours, which left me exhausted for work the next day. I complained in the morning and they simply cut the AC in my room, which did the trick. The following night was fine, but the AC system remains a mess—pressing the buttons in the office rooms makes no difference because the central air is controlled remotely. The staff were friendly and fixed the issue the next night, but I got no refund or anything for the sleepless night and the hard day afterward. It was annoying to pay more expecting fewer problems.

We skipped breakfast, but the bar area was enjoyable. Our room was quite small, and because I have mobility disabilities (no wheelchair) it felt very restrictive.

The staff were accommodating, the place felt safe and secure, and the bedroom and bathroom were comfortable. Parking was separate from the hotel, but it was adequate and close to the hotel.

The cleaning was good and the restaurant food was tasty.
