I took the upgrade to the hostel near the bus terminal, same price and free breakfast. English‑speaking staff were quick to answer on WhatsApp. Breakfast came with two medialunas and coffee, tea, or chocolate. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water—no toiletries or tower. Wi‑Fi was fast, and the kitchen was tidy and fully equipped. They also run a travel agency, Paisajes del Sur.

The staff speak English and reply fast on WhatsApp, though there’s no desk presence—just let them know when you’re arriving. The bed was cozy and spotless, and the location is right in the heart of downtown. Shower water was plenty, though they don’t provide toiletries or a tower. Wi‑Fi was quick and the kitchen was clean and well‑equipped. They also run a travel agency called Paisajes del Sur. The price was a bit confusing: I paid $9 a night, but my total booking was $26.

The staff were really helpful and the location is great. The Wi‑Fi, however, wasn’t strong enough to use in the kitchen.
