The room was tidy, but room 134 had a bad location: the window faced the hotel hall, so no outside air came in. The acoustics were poor – up to 12 am there was noise from the hall, with shouting from guests still playing pool or drinking in the breakfast area, plus light and privacy issues. I reported this to reception in the morning, and they offered me a free breakfast, which I appreciated, but room 134 was the only one with such a bad spot, and I was traveling alone. I felt like I was shoved into that room even though I paid only a single adult rate.
