The current team has apparently been running the place only since December 2025, but that’s not a drawback at all. The staff were super friendly, and the manager is a little eccentric yet still very nice and keeps everything under control. Dinner was excellent, and the rooms were newly furnished and tastefully decorated. The beds—especially the mattresses—were outstanding; sleeping in them was pure pleasure. The only downside was breakfast, which offered almost no variety and nothing fresh like fruit or vegetables. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

“Ask and make sure there are no events planned for the evening of your stay.”

The location was good, and the property and surroundings were attractive. We were one of only two guests in the entire property, yet they gave us a room next to a bathroom on the first floor near the entrance, and that night they hosted a huge event with very loud music. We could hear the dryer in the bathroom every time anyone in the party went to the bathroom. It was the worst night in any hotel I have ever stayed in, and having worked in hospitality for many years, I find that they should have given us another room since they had so many empty ones. They were very rude and inconsiderate.
