The suite felt brand new and incredibly comfortable, with a real luxury vibe; however, it wasn’t clear where to go to check in and get the key, so we had to piece it together from Q&As left by previous guests. The lady who handed us the key was very friendly, and I appreciated that she stayed with us until after 8 pm after we’d had a nightmare journey with road closures.

These suites were impressive, everything matched our tastes and the cleanliness was great, which is very important to me. We enjoyed a memorable view, perfect for people‑watching and relaxing while looking over the harbour up to the Abbey. The Superking bed was perfect for a good night’s sleep; couldn’t fault a thing. Absolutely nothing was lacking.

The room was big and comfortable, with a panoramic window that offered a great view over Whitby, making it a great base for exploring the town; we enjoyed our time here. A small fridge would be helpful.
