“Hotel itself was very good, but the Restaurant needs to improve.”

The room was comfy, clean, and well presented, and all the staff were excellent. The evening meal fell short of my expectations: my croquettes and the Calamari were good, but several friends said their chicken starters were not wonderful. My lamb chops were a bit tough, and the Eton Mess was dry and therefore not very messy. Because of this, I skipped breakfast the next morning, and none of the others I was with did either, except for one.

“Great hotel and location. Very comfortable stay with friendly satff and good food.”

The river‑view room we booked was excellent; the view of the river was a bit limited but the room was very comfortable with good facilities. Breakfast was also very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We attended a concert at the Mill, and the location was ideal, just a short walk over the bridge.

The location is fabulous for the Thames Path, and the room was spacious and lovely. I loved everything.

“Very enjoyable and comfortable”

Breakfast was good, but the supply method—such as the self‑serve juices and fruit—was unusual to us. There was no cold breakfast buffet.
