The owners Sarah and Patrick are warm and helpful, never overbearing, and the place feels instantly like home. We stayed in the "Louise" room, which was very authentic and spacious; we could turn on the air‑conditioning during the day so the room stayed pleasantly cool at night. The pool invited us to cool off, and the breakfast was typical French with homemade jam and pastries. A free parking spot is only 150 m away, where you can leave your car safely. We were there for three days to explore the area, and I highly recommend the "Maison d'hôtes Payan Champier"—knowing you’re sleeping at the owners’ house, not a hotel, is comforting. The location is central, the place feels like a real apartment, the hosts are lovely, and the breakfast is excellent.

The beautiful house, the location, the pool, and the surroundings are great. Sara and Patrick are kind owners. The village has fantastic restaurants and a charming French vibe. Every Tuesday there’s a market right outside. Free parking is 100 m from the house.
