The apartment was spotless and orderly.

“Si dorme in garage.”

Everything was disappointing. We waited for the owner even though we had communicated our arrival time. We entered through the garage door of a small house, expecting to go upstairs, but found ourselves in a room split in half by a bookshelf. One side was a bedroom, the other a breakfast table and fridge. On the table were packaged snacks, two packets of crackers, cups, a coffee machine with pods. In the fridge were water bottles, a half‑eaten butter block, jam, and milk cartons, one of which was open and half empty. The owner collected a fee and left, with no mention of a bill. We had an imminent engagement and left right after unloading our luggage. When we returned late that night, we found no toilet paper; the only roll in the bathroom was already finished. Towels provided: two large shower towels and two face towels, which were inadequate. We stayed for two nights, the room was not cleaned again, no one was seen, and we left from the garage, leaving the keys on the table and closing the door. There was no light on the bedside tables, so we had to use our phone to get light at night. We travel a lot and this was our first experience in a garage. Overall, terrible.

The room was spacious, spotless, and there was no extra charge for the dog (finally!).

I liked that the apartment was right next to the embankment trail and close enough to the shops to buy food. The shower was complicated with digital buttons and the bright lights stayed on -couldn’t turn them off. There were also other strobe like lights from the WiFi box and other things like that which made it hard to sleep

The place was tidy and spacious. It was poorly isolated; we could hear tenants upstairs endlessly.
