On arrival we received a nice room upgrade that we were happy with; after two nights we were asked if we wanted to move to a larger room because of maintenance, we agreed and got a spacious suite with a separate living area and bedroom, which was definitely a pleasant upgrade in terms of space and comfort, though we still preferred the first room mainly because of its view; both rooms had their own perks, but the view from the first room made it slightly more special for us. Unfortunately the hotel’s facilities were very limited, the pool looked uninviting and was disappointing, and we were disappointed with the spa service—staff seemed unprofessional and the treatment didn’t meet our expectations; there is definitely room for improvement in facilities and service.
