“Excelente opción en esta hermosísima ciudad”
The location is super convenient, the front‑desk staff are very friendly, the décor is lovely, and everything is spotless! Everything else was great.

Everything that isn’t a Riad is called a “hotel,” so the windows don’t face the courtyard. The biggest downside is the mosque speakers blasting full‑volume calls to prayer right at 04:00 (half an hour before Fajr – after daylight‑saving time it would be 06:00, but Morocco switched to UTC this year, so there’s no DST). The building was stylishly renovated a few years ago; each room has a bathroom with a separate shower (even a shower curtain). The location is such that you can walk from the CTM bus station with a heavy suitcase, and from there you can easily discover the famous blue streets. The friendly manager even gave us a tip on where to get another beer (Oum Rabie, you can also take one to go, and it’s not expensive), and the terrace right in front of our room was very chill. The absolute horror: the mosque speakers at 04:00! The only solution is to get up immediately and close the window. Thirty minutes later it starts again, and then it lasts for a full 10 minutes.

The room was cute and the bed comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location was very good. The bathroom lacked ventilation and sometimes had a musty smell. The street below is noisy because the hotel is right in the tourist area, which is both a plus and a drawback.

The place sits close to the lively spots in Chefchaouen. Mr Munir, the host, was helpful and upgraded our room for the second night. The linens were good and the price was reasonable. The steps leading up to the building are a bit steep, and there’s no space to store bags.
