The bed was huge and super comfy, and the buffet breakfast was a wide range of tasty options—especially the freshly baked bread and the orange and banana cakes that were spot on. You can keep refilling as much as you like, though the eggs are an extra charge. The spot is spot on, just a 10‑minute walk to the city centre, surrounded by nature with plenty of trees, kids’ play areas, and we spotted a lot of birds. The only downside was a slight water leak in the bathroom, and it would help to have a big sign at the entrance because we accidentally walked into the adjacent property.

The buffet breakfast was varied, especially the kuchen selection. They charge an extra $2.000 in cash for two scrambled eggs. The beds have good blankets so you don’t feel cold, and there’s an electric stove, an electric kettle, and a fridge‑bar in the room. I couldn’t lock the door from the inside when I went to bed; the lock system might need an upgrade. The fridge‑bar was loud, so I unplugged it.

The rooms had no proper heating for the full winter, so we only had a small electric heater, the bathroom was very cold, and the showers ran with icy water. We felt chilly. The breakfast hours were inconvenient, as the front desk said it ran from 09.00 to 10.30, a schedule that seemed to depend on the manager’s mood and she didn’t want to get up early.
