“Great city location for tourist areas, friendly staff.”

The place sits in a convenient spot, and the bathroom is fairly roomy. I liked the entrance hall and the building’s lift, and the fridge in the room was handy. The room gets cleaned each day. The shower offered many settings and nozzles, though I wasn’t sure how to use all of them. The curtain was hanging off its rail, and a few lights were out or the bulbs were dead. You can hear other guests, but the building is old so that’s expected. The balcony doors were stiff and didn’t open or close smoothly.

“Clean, helpful staff, bright, modern room, free tea and coffee in the communal area. Extremely uncomfortable bed.”

The location was excellent, within walking distance of all the sights, and the metro to Vatican City is just a 2‑minute walk from the hotel. The staff were very helpful. The bed was a major let‑down; in room 404 it sank in the middle and a new mattress is clearly needed. Both my partner and I were disappointed. One pillow was too hard and the other two were too soft, ruining what should have been a restful night after a long day of walking and touring.

Everything was perfect—the location, the cleanliness, everything! A huge thank‑you to Naomi for making the stay truly exceptional. I have no doubt I’ll return again.
