I never got to stay! The Marlborough is NOT the Marlborough at 90 High St Marlborough UK! It’s the previous owner’s listing that hasn’t been removed, so I never got to stay even though I had confirmed and paid. I’m appalled that I had a confirmation email, paid in full, arrived at the location, and they didn’t have a room because it was the previous owner’s listing, which is not linked to the current owner or property. Please do something about this!

Location. There are two variations of this hotel on Bookings. One is The Marlborough and the other is The Marlborough Inn. The Marlborough does not exist; the previous owner needs to take it off Bookings. The staff at The Marlborough Inn have informed Bookings of this issue and are fed up with guests like us turning up with a booking for The Marlborough when it has nothing to do with The Marlborough Inn. Luckily we found alternative accommodation and we have received a full refund for our bogus booking at The Marlborough.

Very convenient for town and very clean and tidy. The stairs wouldn’t suit everyone, but we thought they added character.

This property was booked at least 4 weeks prior to suppose stay ! On the day at 1.30 reception phoned to tell me No Restaurant available. Yet I had confirmation at the time of booking a resevered table. The manager agreed to a refund of our not wanting to stay . Numerous contact with hotel and still no refund 😕 Really leaves a sour taste in your mouth, this non quality service. On top of which it was for my husbands birthday!
