This is my second stay at the guesthouse after traveling along Kohechi Road. Host Koji is friendly and welcoming. The facilities are simple yet satisfy travelers’ needs, especially those heading to Nakahechi Road. The location is ideal for anyone wanting to explore more of Kii‑Tanabe. I hope to return, perhaps on a future Ohechi trip.

Overall, a lot to improve. The host is very friendly but the rest of the house is very dirty. A gigantic spider came out of my bed and there are spiders everywhere around the house. The toilet is partly at the same height as the sink for brushing teeth, and the shower needs significant improvement.

Good location, near the rain station in a nice neighbourhood. Nice host. Acces to the kitchen. Authentic house. The matress of the bunk beds could be a bit more comfortable. And the shower as well
