Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok

I’ve never experienced anything like this before. Already at 06:00 in the morning they start working on the rooms with drills and a lot of noise, which is incredibly frustrating to be woken up so early by construction while on vacation and wanting some peace and rest.

I was upgraded to the 21st floor, which had been nicely refurbished; nothing else to note.

Breakfast was just about OK. Fruit section could have been better. Location was great and very convenient. Room was decent. Staff wasn't friendly at all. Refused to serve drinking water because it wasn't time for breakfast buffet to start. We landed early morning. The lobby had very uncomfortable seating and waiting area. Staff behaviour at the reception and buffet counter. Non cooperative. Swimming pool floor was messy

Nice comfortable beds, a lovely shower with plenty of pressure, and good bathrobes and slippers.

The hotel is centrally located with a short walk to the Sky Train, restaurants nearby, a nice gym, and good breakfast. Unfortunately, the hotel was under renovation—something I wasn’t informed about when I booked. The pool and surrounding area were closed, with dust, noise, and a bad smell; the reception area was noisy, and the toilets and bar were also closed. I understand the hotel needed refurbishment, but I would have appreciated advance notice so I could have chosen a different place. I checked out two days early because of the inconveniences, requested a refund, and they required confirmation from you. I’ve sent a few messages but haven’t received a reply. I hope you’ll contact the hotel with the above complaint so they can refund me for the last two days; they speak poor English.
