“Moletani”
The scenery was beautiful, the uncle checked us in and took us on a private tour where we only saw golden wildebeest, giraffes, lion bucks, and cows. Janika stayed up for us on the first night while we were delayed by traffic and got lost with the GPS on the way there, and she set up a camp cot for the baby, which was a nice touch. The braai/Boma was too high to climb on and you have to sit there for a while because you don’t want to climb up and down the hole all the time. The swimming pool was out of order, there was no game drive and no bar to serve drinks and ice, so we had to drive 12 km to Modimolle to get something. The house is in nature but requires fumigation because of bugs and spiders; I got bitten by a bug from the straw roof. There was no entertainment for kids, and I would have liked to see the other animals. The toilet seat kept moving, the shower didn’t work, and the portable handheld shower was broken when we entered; no changes were made. I couldn’t get an extra double bed.
